SAJ Electric launches new energy storage series in Australia

18 Sep, 2026

Renewable energy provider SAJ has launched its new HS5 EK residential storage series in Australia and expanded of its distribution network in the country.

The SAJ HS5 EK70 is an all-in-one residential storage unit integrating a solar inverter, battery, backup power, energy management system, and EV charger.

The unit features whole-house backup capability, an aerosol fire suppression system, and AI-driven energy management.

The EK70 will be available through SAJ’s Australian distribution partners. SAJ is the first brand in the industry to be listed under the new standard SA TS 5398.

Certified under Clean Energy Council standards, the EK70 carries a 10-year warranty rated at 10,000 cycles.

SAJ also offered a preview of the upcoming HS5 EK90. Arriving in Australia later this year, the EK90 offers a 15-year warranty, 12,000 battery cycles, and planned vehicle-to-grid (V2G) and vehicle-to-home (V2H) capabilities.

Both units operate on the newly launched elekeeper 5.0 software, which connects with major Australian virtual power plants and dynamic tariff platforms such as Amber, Origin, and Synergy to optimise household energy costs.

“SAJ has demonstrated the product capability, commercial bankability, manufacturing standards and technical approach we look for in a long-term distribution partner,” Supply Partners CEO Patrick Morrissey said.

Highlighting its commercial expansion, SAJ celebrated its ongoing 1GWh agreement with One Stop Warehouse and welcomed Supply Partners and Tradezone as new Australian distribution partners.

“By combining SAJ’s technology with Tradezone’s online platform, distribution network and installer reach, we can provide Australian contractors with even greater choice and support,” said Robert Kingston, Managing Director at Tradezone.
