TrueEV partners with XPENG to bring advanced EVs to Australia

TrueEV, a prominent advocate for electric vehicle (EV) adoption, has announced an exclusive partnership with XPENG, a leading global smart EV company.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the Australian automotive market, introducing luxurious and technologically advanced EV vehicles and support.

TrueEV, a new player in the electric vehicle market, brings years of experience in the automotive and tech industries.

The company is committed to introducing leading products and services to support Australia’s transition to electric vehicles and environmentally sustainable lifestyle products.

Through this partnership, TrueEV will offer XPENG’s range of intelligent EVs to local consumers across Australia.

This includes branded showrooms and comprehensive customer support throughout the buying process.

TrueEV will serve as the sole importer, distributor, and retailer of XPENG products in Australia, further solidifying its commitment to providing comprehensive solutions to customers.

TrueEV CEO Jason Clarke expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating: “We are beyond excited to announce our exclusive partnership with XPENG to bring to the market a highly intelligent, stylish and technologically advanced electric vehicle that will excite and accelerate the adoption of EVs in Australia.

“XPENG is the highest quality intelligent EV that we could identify after an exhaustive search. We are confident that XPENG’s product range and design features are ideally suited to the Australian market.”

As part of XPENG’s international expansion plans, the company has announced strategic partnerships across other countries in the Asia Pacific region, including Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia.

These partnerships aim to bring the brand’s latest intelligent EVs to local consumers.

XPENG has also partnered with Volkswagen Group for the rollout of next-generation intelligent EVs, enhancing its global positioning.

Alex Tang, XPENG’s GM of International Markets, commented on the partnership.

Tang said: “The partnership with TrueEV in Australia is recognised as a significant step forward in our global expansion strategy. Our vision, values and unwavering commitment to superior quality align perfectly. TrueEV’s experience and local insight make this the natural and forward-thinking next step in our expansion plan.”

TrueEV is set to debut XPENG’s G6 SUV model in Australia by Q4 2024.

The G6, developed for global markets, is underpinned by XPENG’s evolutionary Smart Electric Platform Architecture (SEPA) 2.0 platform, setting the foundation for future production models.
