Fox ESS tops Europe storage rankings

05 Jan, 2026

Fox ESS, founded in 2019 and headquartered in Wenzhou, China, has been ranked the number one provider of residential energy storage systems in Europe, the UK, and Poland for the first half of 2025.

This achievement, based on megawatt-hour (MWh) shipments in the S&P Global Energy Residential Energy Storage Index, underscores the company’s explosive growth and commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality products tailored to homeowners’ needs.

With over 720,000 global photovoltaic inverter installations and more than 200,000 energy storage systems deployed in the past three years, Fox ESS has solidified its position in a market surging due to rising demand for home batteries amid the clean energy transition.

Fox ESS provides a comprehensive ecosystem of residential solutions, including inverters, battery storage, EV chargers, and heat pumps, all engineered for seamless integration to boost efficiency and promote sustainable living.

Installers praise the products’ straightforward design and rapid installation, enabling quicker setups and superior performance for end-users.

The company’s robust global supply chain, rigorous quality controls, and local service teams in key markets ensure ongoing support, while a 400-strong R&D team refines offerings based on real-world data from diverse climates and regulations.

“Energy independence should be within everyone’s reach,” said Michael Zhu, CEO of Fox ESS.

“That’s why we focus relentlessly on quality, performance, and value for money – so our customers can generate, store, and use their own clean energy with complete confidence.”

To strengthen partnerships, Fox ESS recently launched a dedicated installer program in Germany, with plans for regional expansion offering tailored training, five-tier rewards, certificates, masterclasses, and networking opportunities.

“Our 400-strong R&D team is constantly analysing real-world installations and customer feedback,” Zhu continued.

“This hands-on approach lets us fine-tune our products for different climates, regulations, and usage patterns, which keeps us ahead in a fast-changing industry.”
