WoodSolutions introduces EPD Database for carbon accounting

WoodSolutions, a key provider of timber building and construction information, has launched a new Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) Database in partnership with Thinkstep-ANZ. This database aims to provide a comprehensive carbon accounting roadmap for the building industry, particularly in light of emerging 'zero-carbon' initiatives. The database consolidates information from all publicly available EPDs for timber building products used in the Australian market, including structural, aesthetic, and landscaping components manufactured locally and overseas. It includes industry average EPD data as well as product-specific data, offering values for fossil fuel emissions (GWP fossil) used in production, biogenic carbon storage value (GWP biogenic) recognising carbon sequestered in wood, and a GWP-total value, which combines the two. "This new resource from WoodSolutions is ... more

MILKLAB to saveBOARD to create sustainable MILKLAB Lane

MILKLAB and saveBOARD to transform long-life milk recycling

MILKLAB, the go-to plant-based milk for Australian cafes, has teamed up with saveBOARD to revolutionise waste recycling.
