Smart Commercial Solar partners with NSW Farmers on sustainable energy solutions

12 Jun, 2024
Smart Commercial Solar partners with NSW Farmers to deliver sustainable energy solutions

Smart Commercial Solar, a leading provider of solar and energy storage solutions, has announced an exciting new partnership with NSW Farmers, advocacy group for primary producers.

Under this collaboration, Smart Commercial Solar has been selected as the preferred solar and storage supplier for NSW Farmers’ over 6,500 members.

The partnership aims to provide sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions tailored to the unique needs of farmers across New South Wales.

Smart Commercial Solar’s expertise in agrivoltaics and pioneering Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) will enable NSW Farmers’ members to access reliable and affordable energy options.

PPAs are an increasingly popular energy procurement model that allows businesses to install solar and storage systems with zero upfront costs.

This innovative approach enables organisations to alleviate the burden of high power costs and lock in reliable, cost-effective energy pricing for years to come.

“Our collaboration with Smart Commercial Solar demonstrates our commitment to delivering reliable and affordable energy options to our members,” said Andrew Coughlan, Regional Lead Membership & Commercial at NSW Farmers.

“Their expertise and innovative approach make them an ideal partner for our community.”

Through this partnership, NSW Farmers members will be able to access a range of exclusive benefits, including favourable terms for PPAs.

This will enable them to take advantage of Smart Commercial Solar’s cutting-edge solutions and reduce their energy costs while contributing to a more sustainable future.

“We’re proud to partner with NSW Farmers in supporting primary producers to reduce costs and future-proof their operations,” said Max Stenning, Executive General Manager of Smart Commercial Solar.

“This partnership aligns with our core values of making power affordable for businesses who need it most, and we look forward to delivering significant savings for farmers across the state.”

Smart Commercial Solar has a strong history of supporting regional businesses and is a key partner of Bunnings, another significant supporter of NSW Farmers.
