OSW launches GreenSketch — the first free end-to-end solar design platform

OSW launches GreenSketch — the first free end-to-end solar design platform

OSW has officially launched GreenSketch to all users in Australia, the world’s first free end-to-end solar design platform, following a successful beta phase.

Developed by the OSW Group, GreenSketch integrates free design, product procurement, subsidy applications, and full-cycle project management into one online platform, free of charge to users.

The new platform is set to revolutionise the way solar designers and installers operate.

Since its debut at All Energy 2024, Australia’s largest energy expo, GreenSketch has already empowered over 700 global installers, increasing design efficiency by 300 per cent.

The launch generated over 2,000 inquiries and expressions of interest and now the platform is available to everyone at zero cost, marking a major shift in accessibility for solar professionals.

OSW Founder and CEO Anson Zhang stated: “GreenSketch is not just an innovative design tool – it’s a breakthrough platform that integrates all of OSW’s business units.

“For the first time, the industry has a true end-to-end vertical solution. From pre-sales design and quoting to product procurement and subsidy applications, to post-sales management, installers can now meet all their needs on a single platform.

“This marks a significant milestone for the solar sector.”

GreenSketch is breaking industry norms by offering a truly zero-cost solution.

Users can create unlimited designs with no project caps, ensuring accessibility for businesses of all sizes.

With projected annual savings in the tens of thousands of dollars, based on 2025 industry cost models, GreenSketch is redefining affordability in the solar design space.

Zhang continued: “OSW Group’s transition to a SaaS-driven model is a game-changer for the renewable energy industry.

“By making world-class solar design software freely available, we are accelerating Australia’s journey to Net Zero by 2050.

“The global solar market is evolving rapidly, and we are committed to setting the standard internationally, with upcoming rollouts planned across Europe and beyond.”

The response from beta testers has been overwhelmingly positive.

Dee, Director of Wonder Power, stated: “GreenSketch has become an essential tool in our workflow, with over 90 per cent of our new projects now using it.

“The shade analysis and proposal features offer a clear, professional presentation making it easier for end users to understand and accept.”

Solar National said: “GreenSketch is a highly valuable asset for solar and battery project development. It streamlines project design, facilitates efficient pricing input, and automates government rebate calculations.”

Quinn, Solar designer of Shinehub, stated: “GreenSketch has been an incredible all-in-one solution for our business. It has streamlined our processes, saved us a tremendous amount of time, and significantly boosted our efficiency.”

GreenSketch is now available with free unlimited access. Installers can register for a one-on-one onboarding session (valued at $600) before March 31 to maximise their use of the platform.
