Holcim Australia unveils new brand identity, reinforcing commitment to sustainability

Holcim Australia unveils new brand identity, reinforcing commitment to sustainability

Holcim Australia, a major provider of innovative and sustainable building materials, has revealed its new brand identity at the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) Conference.

This significant rebranding effort aligns with the company’s global vision for greener cities and smarter infrastructure, marking the first brand refresh since Holcim’s acquisition from Cemex in 2009.

The updated identity underscores Holcim Australia’s dedication to delivering environmentally sustainable and innovative building solutions.

It also reflects the company’s ambitious goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, addressing the evolving needs of customers, communities, and the construction industry.

George Agriogiannis, CEO of Holcim Australia and New Zealand, emphasised the significance of this rebranding, stating: “Our new brand represents more than just a fresh look — it embodies our ambition to lead the way in creating a sustainable future for construction.”

He further explained that the new identity mirrors the company’s current focus on innovative and sustainable solutions.

Holcim Australia’s commitment to sustainability is evident in its range of innovative products, including:

  • ECOPact low-carbon concrete
  • High-strength DYNAMax
  • FutureCast precast concrete solutions

These products are designed to transform construction practices by reducing material use. Additionally, the company is conducting trials of electric vehicles and implementing renewable energy sources to power its facilities.

The rebranding initiative is part of a broader two-to-three-year project that will see Holcim Australia updating more than 250 sites and its heavy vehicle fleet to reflect the new identity.

This follows a similar brand refresh undertaken by Holcim New Zealand in April 2023, further aligning the company with its global counterparts.

As the construction industry continues to evolve, Holcim Australia’s new brand identity positions the company at the forefront of sustainable building practices.

By focusing on innovative solutions and environmental responsibility, Holcim aims to support its customers in achieving their environmental targets and construction goals while contributing to a more sustainable future for the industry as a whole.
