Amber Technology brings Infinium™ audio system

Amber Technology brings Infinium™ audio system

Amber Technology has announced it will introduce the Williams AV Infinium™ System to the Australian market starting July 2025, marking a significant advance in accessible, high-quality audio delivery for public and commercial venues.

The Infinium™ System leverages Bluetooth® Auracast™ technology, enabling users to receive real-time, low-latency audio directly on their own compatible devices — including hearing aids, cochlear implants, and headphones — without the need for complex wiring or traditional venue-owned receivers.

Designed to meet the needs of environments where clear sound is critical, the Infinium™ System is ideal for lecture halls, theatres, airports, and fitness centres, as well as any venue seeking to support large or diverse audiences with inclusive audio solutions.

By allowing guests to connect using their own Auracast™-enabled devices or the purpose-built Infinium™ handheld receiver, venues gain greater flexibility while reducing hardware and support overheads.

The Infinium™ System comprises three main components:

  • A low-profile transmitter, discreetly mountable on ceilings, walls, podiums, or furniture, powered and connected via a single Category (CAT) cable.
  • A network-ready controller with integrated Dante® connectivity, supporting secure audio channel creation, monitoring, and both local and remote management through a web-based interface.
  • An ergonomic handheld receiver featuring a bright, high-contrast display, soft-touch controls, and all-day battery life, compatible with headphones, earphones, cochlear implants, and neckloops for a comfortable listening experience.

This modular architecture allows for flexible AV integration and placement, while the system’s plug-and-play setup simplifies installation for technicians and integrators.

Key features of the Infinium™ System

  • Real-time, low-latency audio delivery via Bluetooth® Auracast™
  • Support for both stereo and mono transmission modes
  • Compatibility with hearing aids, cochlear implants, headphones, and Infinium™ receivers
  • Installation with a single CAT cable for both power and audio
  • Up to 100 metres of range using the Infinium™ receiver
  • Discreet, low-profile transmitter design
  • Handheld receiver with a bright display, soft-touch controls, and all-day battery life
  • Multiple listening options, including neckloops and cochlear implants
  • Dante® integration for AV network connectivity
  • Secure or open audio channels with local and remote management

Williams AV, with nearly 50 years of experience in assistive communication, continues to lead in professional-grade audio technology.

The Infinium™ System builds on this legacy, offering a scalable, future-ready platform that helps venues meet compliance goals and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The Infinium™ System will be available across Australia through Amber Technology’s national network of AV resellers and integration partners from July 2025.

Recommended retail pricing is as follows:

  • Infinium CT1 Auracast Controller and Transmitter: $4,599
  • Infinium Auracast System Kit (2 Receivers): $6,699
  • Infinium Auracast System Kit (4 Receivers): $8,599
  • Infinium R1 Multi-channel Auracast Receiver: $549

Amber Technology and Williams AV will showcase the Infinium™ System at Integrate 2025 on stand L52, offering demonstrations and further information for interested venues and integrators.
