Global Power Generation Australia (GPG Australia) has appointed PVHardware (PVH) to supply advanced solar trackers for two major renewable energy projects in Australia.
The partnership will contribute to the development of the Glenellen and Bundaberg Solar Farms, which are set to deliver a combined 360MW of electricity, marking a substantial boost to Australia’s renewable energy capacity.
Glenellen Solar Farm
The Glenellen Solar Farm, located in New South Wales, is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2025.

- Capacity: 260MW
- Solar modules: Over 370,000
- Technology: PVH’s Monoline2P trackers
- Unique aspect: GPG Australia’s first Agrisolar project, integrating agriculture with solar power generation
Bundaberg Solar Farm
Situated in Queensland, the Bundaberg Solar Farm is expected to begin operations in the third quarter of 2025.
Highlights include:
- Capacity: 100MW
- Annual clean energy generation: Approximately 200GWh
- Homes powered: Around 36,000
- Carbon emission reduction: Estimated 170,000 tonnes annually
- Technology: PVH’s Monoline1P trackers
Trevor De Vries, PVH’s VP of Sales, emphasised the importance of these projects, stating: “These projects will not only improve our presence in the Australian market, but they will also generate local jobs and significantly contribute to the region’s energy generation capacity.”
The partnership also demonstrates a commitment to local economic development, with Monford Group selected as the main contractor for both sites, prioritising locally sourced goods and services.
