The company has strengthened its digital grid capabilities, introducing a Net Zero dashboard integrated with EcoStruxure ADMS and DERMS.
This new tool provides utilities with crucial metrics and key performance indicators for monitoring grid decarbonisation, enabling them to quantify emissions and gain valuable insights for sustainability strategies.
In response to the increasing threat of wildfires and severe storms, Schneider Electric has enhanced its mitigation capabilities for extreme weather events.
The company is implementing strategies powered by the AiDash platform, which utilises satellite and AI technology to provide real-time insights and analytics.
These advancements aim to help utilities better prepare for and manage extreme weather conditions, reinforcing grid resiliency.
Schneider Electric has also made significant progress in the deployment of its Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS).
In partnership with Elektrilevi, a European utility, the company is rolling out a full-scale DERMS project using a stepwise approach.
This deployment follows a successful proof-of-concept that validated Elektrilevi’s acceptance criteria.
The DERMS solution enables greater grid flexibility and efficient integration of distributed energy resources (DER), addressing the growing complexity of grid constraints resulting from the rapid increase in distributed renewable assets.
