Biodiesel is an immediate alternative to mineral diesel; it is locally made, 100 per cent renewable and 100 per cent carbon-neutral, matching the green credentials of wind and solar.
It is a drop-in replacement for mineral diesel and can be used in existing approved machinery instead of waiting for new technology to be developed.

As Australia manoeuvres its energy mix to balance the effect of intermittent renewables, the dispatchable capacity of backup diesel generators has been recognised as the last line of defence when the grid reaches its stress point.
This means a diesel generator supports a business while it takes its electrical load off the grid, or to generate electricity that can be exported to the grid to help during those electrical supply shortages.

Biodiesel is here now, it is completely renewable, and is accepted in Australia as 100 per cent carbon neutral under the NGER reporting mechanism. Importantly, biodiesel is locally made so it stimulates the local economy and contributes to local and national fuel security.
