The Clean Energy Council is the peak body for the clean energy industry in Australia. We are a not-for-profit, membership-based organisation. We represent and work with Australia's leading renewable energy and energy storage businesses, as well as rooftop solar installers, to further the development of clean energy in Australia.

ARENA was established by the Australian Government on 1 July 2012. Our purpose is to improve the competitiveness of renewable energy technologies and increase the supply of renewable energy through innovation that benefits Australian consumers and businesses.

The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) works to make all Australian energy consumers better off, now and in the future. We regulate electricity networks and covered gas pipelines, in all jurisdictions except Western Australia. We set the amount of revenue that network businesses can recover from customers for using these networks. We enforce the laws for the National Electricity Market and spot gas markets in southern and eastern Australia.
