It is now possible to submit your proposal for the International Flow Battery Forum (IFBF) conference, which will take place on 24-26 June 2025 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Vienna, Austria.
As the leading event for the flow battery community, IFBF 2025 will gather in Vienna next June the main flow battery experts among researchers, manufacturers, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss the latest advancements in flow battery technology and its practical applications.
Industry professionals and academics are encouraged to submit proposals for presentations, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and posters by 31 January 2025.
The Forum welcomes submissions that address a wide range of topics relevant to the flow battery field, including scientific and technological innovations, commercial case studies, manufacturing processes, environmental sustainability initiatives, market analysis, policy frameworks, and system integration approaches. This comprehensive range of themes ensures valuable insights for all participants, from researchers and manufacturers to end-users and policymakers.
Priority will be given to recent and novel work; however, updates on ongoing projects are also encouraged. Authors who have previously presented on a similar topic are asked to highlight new content in their submissions. While proposals should avoid overt advertising or self-promotion, they may include relevant business activities and technical progress.
Selected contributors will have the opportunity to feature their work in the official Book of Conference Papers, which forms part of the IFBF’s growing archive of over 600 published papers documenting progress in flow battery technology. These papers will be distributed to all conference delegates and can be cited in future research and publications.
IFBF 2025 is a unique opportunity to contribute to the global conversation on flow battery technology and its key contribution to energy storage.
“IFBF 2025 is a not-to-be-missed event for advancing flow battery technology and accelerating its commercial deployment” says IFBF Director, Anthony Price. “We look forward to promoting a collaboration among stakeholders and showcasing innovations that are bound to shape the future of energy storage” he added.
In its 15th edition, the International Flow Battery Forum draws some 300 participants from all over the world each year, confirming its crucial role in advancing the energy storage sector.
