Leaders unite at Hydrogen Americas 2025 to shape energy future

30 Jun, 2025
Hydrogen Americas 2025

Hydrogen Americas 2025 Summit & Exhibition, the leading platform for hydrogen and energy innovation in the region, will return to Washington, D.C. on 3–4 September 2025, bringing together senior policymakers, global energy executives, and clean technology innovators to accelerate hydrogen’s role in delivering a secure, reliable, and sustainable U.S. energy system.

Organised by the Sustainable Energy Council (SEC) and RX Global, the Hydrogen Americas Summit will take place at a pivotal time for the North and Latin American energy markets.

Under the theme “Defining Hydrogen and Energy Solutions for America’s Energy Future,” the 2025 edition will explore how hydrogen, CCS, and renewables can be deployed alongside nuclear, geothermal, gas, and LNG to meet evolving energy demands and decarbonisation targets.

While recent shifts in US energy policy and global economics have challenged the pace of hydrogen deployment, the Americas region has continued to push forward with long-term energy planning, infrastructure investment, and project development.

Hydrogen Americas 2025 will serve as a key convening ground to foster public-private partnerships, unlock project financing, and provide a much-needed forum for collaboration across sectors.

With a strategic high-level summit, the popular Tech Stage, and a world-class exhibition showcasing the latest technologies, the event is expected to attract more than 2,000 decision-makers, 70+ global exhibiting companies, and 160+ expert speakers from across the clean energy ecosystem.

Government officials, technology providers, and project developers from across the Americas will join to discuss practical steps for scaling up hydrogen deployment and integrating it with other clean energy solutions to strengthen grid reliability, industrial decarbonisation, and cross-border trade.

Sustainable Energy Council Managing Director, Chris Hugall said: “As America’s energy mix continues to evolve, the role of hydrogen must be redefined within a broader, more integrated approach ensuring energy security and reliability to meet growing demands. Hydrogen Americas 2025 will provide the critical platform to align strategies, accelerate deployment, and support new partnerships that reflect the region’s changing energy priorities.”

The Hydrogen Americas 2025 Summit & Exhibition is hosted in partnership with leading U.S. and international energy stakeholders. The event continues to serve as the official platform for shaping hydrogen’s role in the broader clean energy transition in the Americas.
