Australia’s largest event for architectural and building innovation returns bigger, bolder and more future-focused in 2025. Held from 12–14 June at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, ArchiBuild Expo brings the built environment industry together to explore what’s next in residential, commercial, and multi-use projects.
Now in its third year, ArchiBuild Expo continues to cement itself as the go-to event for architects, builders, developers and specifiers, showcasing cutting-edge products, materials and ideas shaping the future of Australia’s built environment.
With 12,500+ trade visitors expected and 250+ brands on display, the 2025 edition is more than just a showcase—it’s a driving force for industry change. Through bold ideas, curated experiences and immersive activations, ArchiBuild Expo challenges the status quo—ensuring building is more efficient, less wasteful and more innovative for the future.
Introducing the FutureBuild Neighbourhood
Making its debut in 2025, the FutureBuild Neighbourhood is set to become the beating heart of ArchiBuild Expo—a new zone dedicated to the latest breakthroughs in sustainable building and construction.
As the built environment grapples with the urgency of climate change and increasing pressure to meet Net-Zero and Nature Positive goals, the FutureBuild Neighbourhood will serve as a transformative platform for innovation, collaboration and action.
Curated in partnership with leading organisations including the Australian Institute of Architects, Global GreenTag, the International WELL Building Institute™ (IWBI™), prefabAUS, and the Materials & Embodied Carbon Leaders’ Alliance (MECLA), the precinct will spotlight next-generation products, ideas and solutions driving real-world impact in design and build.
From low-carbon materials and eco-certified products to circular economy strategies and green prefabrication systems, this is where Architects, Builders, Designers, Specifiers and Developers come to explore the future of architecture and building.
Hassell-designed Workshop: A space for conversations that matter
One of the most exciting additions to ArchiBuild Expo in 2025 is The Workshop—an immersive, interactive roundtable space designed by internationally acclaimed design studio Hassell.
In keeping with the Expo’s focus on sustainable innovation, The Workshop will be constructed using repurposed waste materials, including factory offcuts and surplus products. The concept is a bold, creative statement on circular design—transforming industry byproducts into a purposeful, functional environment for conversation and learning.
This space won’t just look different—it functions as a collaborative setting, where visitors can engage in live roundtable discussions, collaborative workshops and expert-led talks focused on the future of the built environment.
By designing with waste and embedding circularity into the space itself, Hassell’s vision for The Workshop goes beyond aesthetics—it’s a living example of sustainable thinking in action, and an invitation for exhibitors and visitors alike to rethink the materials and methods that shape our built world.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) with the Australian Institute of Architects
As Principal Partner, the Australian Institute of Architects will play a key role in shaping the 2025 program. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a curated CPD session series delivered by the Institute, with the chance to earn up to 6 formal CPD points across the event.
Three Shows. One Destination.
ArchiBuild Expo 2025 is co-located with Design Show Australia and Kitchen+Bath Show as a part of Design & Build Week, creating the largest gathering for design and build professionals in the country. The combined event presents a powerful platform for end-to-end project specification and collaboration across disciplines.
