Schneider Electric has been ranked the world’s top microgrid integrator in Guidehouse Research’s 2025 Microgrid Integrators Leaderboard.
The company achieved the highest overall scores for strategy and execution, reflecting its global leadership in delivering resilient, scalable, and sustainable energy solutions.
Guidehouse recognised Schneider’s extensive operations in more than 100 countries, with over 500 microgrids deployed across commercial, industrial, government, and community sectors.
Its EcoStruxure™ Microgrid platform — combining hardware, software, and services — enables turnkey delivery and lifecycle support, strengthened by collaborations with partners such as Mainspring Energy and joint venture AlphaStruxure.
Nicole Blackburn, Director Microgrids at Schneider Electric, said the ranking highlights the company’s commitment to “delivering reliable, future-ready energy systems that support both sustainability and resilience”, noting that microgrids have become essential infrastructure for organisations adapting to energy volatility and climate challenges.
Globally, the microgrid market is forecast to expand from 7.8 GW of annual capacity additions in 2025 to 34.1 GW by 2034, driven by decarbonisation targets and electrification initiatives.
In Australia, Schneider’s leadership is demonstrated through a project with UCS Group in Victoria, where its EcoStruxure™ Microgrid Flex and Microgrid Advisor systems have delivered over 60 per cent monthly electricity savings, full utilisation of onsite solar, and emissions reduction.
The AI-enabled platform optimises solar, battery, and EV charging for maximum efficiency and resilience.
Following this success, Schneider and UCS are extending deployments nationwide to advance 100 per cent green-sourced energy goals.
Blackburn added that the company remains focused on supporting customers worldwide with modular microgrid solutions that are intelligent, adaptive, and sustainable.
