New Ohme managed installation service offers one stop shop for EV drivers

25 Feb, 2025
New Ohme managed installation service offers one stop shop for EV drivers

Smart EV charging company Ohme is introducing a new managed installation service for its home EV chargers. The managed installation service sees a bundled price for supply and installation of an Ohme solar-compatible, smart home EV charger using Ohme’s trusted network of approved installer partners covering all of Australia.

“Our new managed installation service is a one stop shop for EV drivers and business partners alike, giving them peace of mind that everything will be taken care of for them,” explained Matthew Evans from Ohme Australia. “With a seamless customer journey, it also enables Ohme’s business partners such as car manufacturers, car dealerships and leasing companies to remain focused on their core business knowing that their EV customers are in expert hands.”

Ohme’s new managed installation service is backed by a three-year warranty for parts and labour together with Ohme’s award-winning technical and customer support. Ohme already has several existing agreements with its managed installation service internationally with the likes of Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, the Volkswagen Group and Volvo Cars in the UK as well as numerous others.

Ohme will be introducing its managed installation service to visitors at the Everything Electric Australia at Sydney Olympic Park on 7-9 March on stand N18. Prices for Ohme’s new managed installation service including supply and installation start from $2149 for the Ohme ePod.

Developed specifically for the Australian market, both the Ohme Home Pro and ePod chargers come with Solar Boost capability and dynamic tariff integration which enables EV drivers to charge smarter, greener and cheaper at home. Ohme’s dynamic smart charging technology can connect with the grid in real time to automatically adjust its charging allowing customers to take full advantage of off-peak tariffs.

Charging an MG4 Long Range with an 77kWh battery on a full charge with an Ohme smart charger on an off-peak tariff, such as OVO’s The EV Plan, could cost just $6.16*.

Ohme has also been named as Best for Tariff Integration in the 2024 What Wallcharger? Awards and Best Chargepoint Manufacturer in the 2024 Irish EV Awards.
