GreenSketch launches in Australia, revolutionising solar design with free end-to-end platform

14 Mar, 2025
Roadmap provides a pathway for domestic solar manufacturing

GreenSketch, the world’s first end-to-end solar design platform, has officially launched in Australia, offering a free, comprehensive solution for solar designers and installers.

Developed by the OSW Group, GreenSketch integrates design, product procurement, subsidy applications, and project management into a single online platform, eliminating costs for users and streamlining operations.

The platform’s debut at All Energy 2024, Australia’s premier energy expo, generated significant buzz, attracting over 2,000 inquiries and expressions of interest.

Already, GreenSketch has empowered over 700 global installers during its beta phase, boosting design efficiency by an impressive 300 per cent.

The zero-cost accessibility of the platform marks a pivotal shift in the solar industry.

OSW Founder and CEO Anson Zhang emphasised GreenSketch’s comprehensive nature, stating: “GreenSketch is more than just a design tool; it’s a breakthrough platform integrating all of OSW’s business units. For the first time, the industry benefits from a true end-to-end vertical solution.

“Installers can now manage everything from pre-sales design and quoting to product procurement and subsidy applications, all the way through to post-sales management, on a unified platform.

“This is a major milestone for the solar sector.”

GreenSketch boasts several innovative features, including a unique battery-only mode that allows users to incorporate battery and storage options without complete system redesigns.

Free design tools provide real-time analysis of sunlight and roof data, ensuring optimised layouts for every project.

The platform’s workflow covers pre-sales design, subsidy verification via the GreenDeal Platform, procurement, and post-installation management.

Furthermore, GreenSketch automates compliance by generating rebate documents that meet CER and IPART requirements, streamlining the approval process.

Users can also customise pricing and proposal templates to meet individual client needs.

The platform supports 100 per cent CEC-certified equipment from all brands, ensuring high-quality installations.

GreenSketch is breaking traditional industry norms by providing a truly zero-cost solution with unlimited designs and no project caps, ensuring accessibility for businesses of all sizes.

Projected annual savings are estimated to be in the tens of thousands of dollars, based on 2025 industry cost models.

Zhang added: “OSW Group’s transition to a SaaS-driven model is revolutionising the renewable energy industry. By offering world-class solar design software for free, we’re accelerating Australia’s journey to Net Zero by 2050.

“The global solar market is rapidly evolving, and we are committed to setting the standard internationally, with upcoming rollouts planned across Europe and beyond.”

Early adopters of GreenSketch have lauded the platform for its efficiency and user-friendly design.

Dee, Director of Wonder Power, noted: “GreenSketch has become an essential tool in our workflow, with over 90 per cent of our new projects now using it.

“The shade analysis and proposal features offer a clear, professional presentation making it easier for end users to understand and accept.”

Solar National praised its value for solar and battery project development, highlighting streamlined project design, efficient pricing input, and automated government rebate calculations.

Quinn, a Solar Designer at Shinehub, described GreenSketch as an incredible all-in-one solution that has streamlined processes, saved time, and significantly boosted efficiency.

GreenSketch is available now with free, unlimited access. Installers can register for a one-on-one onboarding session (valued at $600) before March 31 to maximise their use of the platform.
