Macmahon Holdings’ subsidiary Decmil bagged a AU$51 million contract from Tilt Renewables for construction work at Waddi wind farm in Western Australia.
The Waddi wind farm plant contract has a total value of AU$91 million, which was split between Decmil and its joint venture partner RJE Global.
RJE will receive AU$40 million from the contract.
The two companies will work on the design and construction for the 18-turbine wind farm, including wind turbine bases, access tracks, site cabling and a switch room.
Decmil will start work in early 2026 and will complete the works by early 2027.
CEO of Macmahon, Michael Finnegan, said: “This award demonstrates Decmil’s strength in civil construction in the renewable sector, in line with our strategy to expand our Australian civil infrastructure business.”
Tilt Renewables recently gave the green light to begin construction of the 108 megawatt Waddi wind farm.
The project is the first wind project to reach financial close in 2025 and will begin construction in 2026 and reach full operations in 2028.
