Arcstream launches Australian-first innovative end-to-end solar energy solution

This year, global solar power company Qcells expanded their business, launching an end-to-end solar energy solution matched with an innovative energy plan pricing model through their new brand Arcstream.

Streamlining the process of renewable energy for homeowners, Arcstream offers both solar and battery storage, integrated with their 100 per cent green energy plan including membership of their Virtual Power Plant (VPP).

The launch of Arcstream has coincided with the introduction of various rebates and rewards for solar buyers as demand across the country increases and Australia leads the world in solar installations per capita.

Arcstream will provide Qcells’ industry-leading solar panels and their recently launched third generation battery storage solution, with a matching energy plan, unique with its disruptive subscription pricing model, 100 per cent green grid energy when you choose to use it, and membership of Arcstream’s Virtual Power Plant (VPP).

The Qcells battery delivers a world class Samsung SDI battery pack in a consumer-friendly scalable hardware and software package with a non-conditional 15 year warranty, backed by Qcells.

Arcstream’s general manager of commercial operations Mick Fell explained the consumer benefits that this program delivers: “We know that many Australian homeowners already see the benefit of owning their own solar and battery, but we also know that buying solar and storage and finding an energy plan that works for them can be incredibly overwhelming.

“We want to provide an easy way for households to simplify the complexity of putting home renewable energy in place by offering an all-inclusive solution from a trusted and quality brand, that matches their energy needs to their lifestyle, but provides bill certainty, and is easy to understand, like their broadband or mobile phone plan.”

The launch of this new, consumer-friendly solar solution comes at a time when solar and battery ownership is increasingly appealing, with reward schemes and rebates such as the NSW Empowering Homes solar battery loan and Solar Victoria’s Virtual Power Plant Pilot program now available across Australia.

The Arcstream energy plans are built specifically for homeowners with solar and battery, helping consumers on the ‘Shine’ plan in Victoria save up to 75 per cent relative to the Victorian Default Offer, and in NSW, QLD and SA save over 80 per cent relative to the Default Market Offer.

Being part of the Arcstream Virtual Power Plant community provides a guaranteed credit of $20 per month to members, allowing those solar PV owners to continue to get value from their investment, even as electricity prices increase and solar Feed-in-Tariffs decrease.

With quality solar technology, a network of vetted local installers, a solar and storage-first energy plan that’s 100 per cent green, and membership of a community Virtual Power Plant – all from the one company – Arcstream is the ultimate solution for homeowners who are yet to make the switch to solar and battery storage based on the perceived logistical challenge.
