ACCIONA has acquired 100 per cent ownership of Western Australia’s Kwinana Waste-to-Energy project in an agreement reached with Macquarie Capital and Dutch Infrastructure Fund. ACCIONA's investment provides certainty for the ongoing construction and future operation of the facility, its workers, and the local community. The Queensland government intends to almost double the Wambo Wind farm in the state’s southwest, adding enough generation to the overall project to power the equivalent of 312,000 homes with renewable energy once complete.
